As part of our 2021 Jasper Power Company Enterprise Development Charter, we are once again seeking all valued suppliers (vendors) that supply goods and/or services to the local community. Such vendors are required to operate from the following communities: Daniëlskuil, Kgatelopele and Postmasburg, Tsantsabane. What is a vendor (supplier)? In a supply chain, a vendor or supplier is an enterprise that contributes goods or services. Generally, a supply chain vendor manufactures inventory/stock items and sells them to the next link in the chain. Today, these terms refer to a supplier of any goods or services. How to apply for the Contract Support Assistance Programme It is simple: Jasper Power would like to assist you in your enterprise. To qualify for this, you must be in possession of the following: • A valid contract/purchase order with the local mines/local municipality, or any other local industry provider. • SMMEs must be a legal entity with the following compliance documents: (1) Copy of CIPRO registration; (2) Updated relevant BEE certificate/affidavit – B-BBEE-exempted micro enterprise; (3) Updated tax clearance certificate & UIF-registered; (4) Certified ID copy of the owner; (5) Must be an exempted micro enterprise or qualifying small enterprise which is 50% owned and controlled by Black people or Black women; (6) Any other enterprise that is 50% owned and controlled by Black people or Black women, with a B-BBEE recognition level of between level 1 and level 4, as determined by the Department of Trade and Industry B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice 2013; and (7) Company profile of business. T&C’s apply. Note: It is important to note that no capital investments are made in any business – i.e. no cash or vehicles are given to any business owner. Only investment in equipment can be made, and/or training provided to business owners.
